Italy has played a leading role in it, thanks to some of the most illustrious exponents of its internationalist schools, decisively contributing to the drafting some of the most effective legal instruments for the international community.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Nesi\u2019s mandate will run until 2027. In this period, crucial issues for international cooperation will have to be addressed, also from a legal standpoint, such as the impact of climate change, the rise in sea levels, sustainability issues, and the constant promotion of human rights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwid8tiztuSLAxWjh_0HHQi5FFQQ3ewLegQIARAV\" aria-label=\"Translated text: The International Law Commission was created in 1947.
