New York – On April 21-22, Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and Environment Minister Gian Luca Galletti were at UN headquarters in New York to lead the Italian delegation at the High Level Thematic Debate on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Signing Ceremony of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
On April 21, Prime Minister Renzi spoke during the SDGs high-level debate to highlight Italy’s commitment and action plan to implement the Global Goals. On April 22, the Prime Minister attended the Paris Agreement Signing Ceremony and signed the treaty on behalf of the Italian government.
