RESTARTING FROM THE FUTURE: ITALY’S MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS CELEBRATES NATIONAL DAY AROUND THE WORLD

Digital, Innovative, Sustainable, Competitive, Inclusive: Italy restarts from the future in the video made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to celebrate Italy’s National Day around the world through its network of Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes.

The video tells the story of a country getting back on the track, and it starts with the key words National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The images are accompanied by the music composed by Ennio Morricone for “Mission” and “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso,” performed by the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia: a tribute to the composer, almost a year since his death, and to his evocative music.

National Day will also be celebrated worldwide with a performance of the National Anthem by the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra conducted by Maestro Riccardo Muti. The recording was made especially for Farnesina and its network abroad at the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, with tits 54-piece choir.

Both videos are available on the Foreign Ministry’s YouTube and social channels and will be posted by the diplomatic-consular network and the Italian Cultural Institutes: more than 300 offices around the world.
